Need decision on 2026 Koi Show as soon as possible. Need Location and Show Chair.
Time is running short to get a site and a plan for he show. The previous site is under new management and ownership and doesn’t seem to be an option. No Progress has been made regarding negotiations with Bass Pro Shop as a site option. Fairgrounds won’t work as can’t sell pets/fish at that location. Need decision by end November to notify ZNA US.
Jackson is looking for sites and has been in contact with the Rose Garden Inn, San Jose Airport. Rick to follow up with Japanese tea garden. Need others to help try to find a location.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS for the Committee and a Show Chairperson to Step up.
Santa Clara Koi Club wants to help with show.
If we have a show it will need to also be the western district show since we passed previously, should include a presidents meeting and a judging exclusive, which we will need 4-5 fish from vendors to provide temporarily for judging.
Budget- trophies, hotel, judges, banquet, food, insurance. Need to factor in 1500$ for meals with judges. Historically banquet and hotel costs about 4000$ (verify and look into options.)
Show Date – moved from 2nd to 3rd week April as some vendors had conflict 2nd week.
Financial Report
Try to get old members back on board and try to expand membership.
501C status
501C/990n – need this to be a non profit and to include in receipts for dues etc. Need to get from state.

(znanorcal.club) Website up and running, Payments linked in website to Wells Fargo club account (will help simplify tank reservations and vendor fees)

-need complete address and phone number for all members to get book from ZNA
